OdiBets has gone live with QTech’s aggregation platform across Kenya and Tanzania, the companies announced on 5 August 2026. The rollout covers casino and sportsbook, with the partners positioning the integration as a growth play focused on turnover, cross-sell and retention.
According to the press release, the casino offering includes localised content such as crash games and “lightweight” games aimed at mitigating common UX constraints in parts of East Africa, including handset limitations, network speed and data costs. QTech said its approach includes minimising caching and testing game performance across low- and mid-tier Android devices prevalent in the region.
On the sportsbook side, QTech said it is deploying its “multi-sportsbook strategy” as part of the portfolio, naming BETBY and Song88 among suppliers. The aggregator said the model is intended to let operators choose between different sportsbook products depending on market needs, including local adaptations and managed trading requirements.
Agatha Wanjugu, QTech’s Sales Manager for East Africa, said: “Partnering with OdiBets is a significant milestone for QTech as we continue strengthening our presence across East Africa. This partnership brings together OdiBets’s market expertise and QTech’s extensive igaming and sportsbook offering to deliver a stronger, more competitive gaming experience for players across Kenya and Tanzania.
“We’re excited to support a partner with such an impressive footprint and ambitious growth plans. Being trusted to power such a respected brand is a testament to the strength of our platform, our team, and our commitment to helping operators grow through localized content, reliable technology, and the widest range of premium games in the market.”
Ekaterina Mayorova, Head of Region for Africa at QTech, said the deal fits the company’s strategy of partnering with market leaders and using targeted packages supported by BI and marketing tools.
Benedict Murithi, Country Marketing Manager at OdiBets, added: “Our goal has always been to give our players the best possible entertainment experience, and partnering with QTech Games helps us do exactly that. Their extensive content portfolio, reliable technology, and understanding of African markets made them the right choice for us as we continue expanding across Kenya, Tanzania, and beyond.
“We’re excited about what this partnership means for OdiBets. It gives us access to more premium content, faster integrations, and the flexibility to respond to what our players want. We see QTech as a long-term partner that will support our growth and help us stay ahead in an increasingly competitive market.”
