Cubeia, a Sweden-based provider of turnkey crypto casino solutions, has appointed Christian Karlsson as chief revenue officer, effective Aug. 3, 2026, the company said.
Karlsson joins Cubeia from Checkin.com, the identity verification and fintech group listed on Nasdaq First North Stockholm (CHECK), where he served as acting chief executive officer from 2024 to 2025 after six years as chief commercial officer. During his time at Checkin.com, he also served as CEO of GetID, the group’s biometric identity verification subsidiary.

Earlier in his career, Karlsson held senior commercial roles at Gaming Innovation Group as head of client operations, and at LeoVegas, where he led payments and fraud strategy as head of payments and fraud.
“Christian has built and scaled commercial and platform businesses through IPOs, market expansion, and industry change — and he knows what operators need from a technology partner because he’s sat on that side of the table,” said Kim Sandström, interim CEO of Cubeia. “As we grow Cubeia’s footprint with operators, his experience across payments, compliance, and partnerships makes him exactly the right person to lead our revenue strategy.”
Cubeia said Karlsson will lead its global revenue strategy and work with product and technical teams to support operators as they launch, scale, and manage compliance in new and existing markets.
