Humanity Protocol Teams Up with Kaito to Issue Yapper Credentials, Bringing Trust to Web3 with Verifiable Identity and Contributor Recognition

Humanity Protocol, a decentralized, privacy-first, Proof-of-Humanity digital identity blockchain, has announced a strategic partnership with Kaito, an AI-powered Web3 information platform, to issue “Yapper Credentials”, a community-driven verification system that enhances self-sovereign identity across the crypto ecosystem. Together, Humanity Protocol and Kaito aim to address a major gap in Web3 by tying real human identity to recognized participation in crypto communities, helping build a more trusted and sybil-resistant digital ecosystem.
Through this collaboration, Kaito will serve as an official Identity Validator on Humanity Protocol, categorizing users into three distinct tiers through Kaito’s proprietary algorithm:
  • Inner CT – Recognized and influential members of the Crypto Twitter (CT) community
  • Emerging CT – Up-and-coming contributors gaining traction in the space
  • Yapper – General Kaito users who have signed up but do not yet meet criteria for the above tiers
Kaito users who sign up for Humanity Protocol’s testnet and connect their X accounts will automatically receive the Yapper Credential once the integration is live. These users will also be eligible for a 50% bonus for Inner CT and a 25% bonus for Emerging CT in airdrop allocation, incentivizing participation and adoption of decentralized identity frameworks.
A key feature of this initiative is cross-chain interoperability. Yapper Credentials issued via Humanity Protocol follow decentralized identity standards, making them portable and usable across blockchain networks. Holders of Inner CT and Emerging CT credentials will be able to carry cryptographic proof of their verified status into governance platforms, decentralized applications, and community ecosystems throughout Web3.
By enabling verifiable credentials that extend beyond Humanity Protocol, this partnership enhances sybil resistance, reputation-based access, and trust-based engagement across the crypto landscape. It offers a scalable way to surface credible voices, reward genuine participation, and reduce the influence of bots and bad actors without compromising user privacy.
“The rise of AI and social platforms has changed how reputation is formed in Web3, yet verifiable identity remains missing from the equation,” said Terence Kwok, Founder of Humanity Protocol. “Through our partnership with Kaito, Yapper Credentials provide a meaningful way to recognize authentic contributions and translate social capital into a verifiable, on-chain identity. This helps users move through decentralized ecosystems with trust, while preserving their privacy and control. It also lays the foundation for a broader set of use cases where identity and reputation matter, from community access and governance to rewards and discovery. We believe this is a major step forward in building a more secure, inclusive, and human-centric internet.”
Yu Hu, founder of Kaito, said: “Kaito’s Yapper Credentials add a new dimension to decentralized identity by spotlighting social proof of engagement in the crypto community. This partnership expands the variety of verifiable credentials available to users and advances our mission to put individuals in control of their identity. By integrating on-chain reputation with cross-chain interoperability, we are creating a system where users can leverage their credentials in multiple applications while preserving privacy and security.”
