The Tournament of Champions, which saw 485 entrants from 1,169 eligible qualifiers for the 2024/2025 season, will not return for the shortened 2025 Season Part 2. Instead, every WSOP Circuit ring winner from July 1 through December 2, 2025, will now receive an exclusive $5K ‘Ticket To Paradise’, a non-transferable and non-refundable package that will include a $2,500 live tournament buy-in and complimentary accommodation in the Bahamas.
The WSOP is also pleased to announce key leadership appointments to guide the Circuit through its exciting new chapter. Dennis Jones has been named the new WSOP U.S. Circuit Tournament Director, and Andy Tillman will take the helm as the new WSOP International Circuit Tournament Director.
Further enhancing the player experience and streamlining casino operations, all future Circuit stops are anticipated to utilize the WSOP+ platform. As in previous seasons, most WSOP-C stops will feature standardized tournament structures and payouts, ensuring consistency for players across events.
More than $168M in prizes were won during the recent 2024/2025 WSOP Circuit season, which featured 45 stops, 729 individual tournaments, and over 291,000 entries.
“Quietly, the WSOP Circuit continues to be the biggest live tournament series in the world, bringing the excitement and prestige of WSOP action across the globe,” said Ty Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of WSOP. “Continuing to elevate the WSOP-C is a strategic focus of ours, and we hope that players enjoy the new benefit of winning any WSOP Circuit gold ring this fall.”
It is anticipated that GGPoker will host online satellites to many of the WSOP Circuit main events held outside the U.S.; please check GGPoker.com regularly for more information.
Full event schedules and structure sheets for each upcoming stop will be released upon approval by their local regulatory body and made available at WSOP.com.
