After achieving major success in Spain, Crime at Home is excited to announce the upcoming international launch of its first multilingual title: Crime at Home: Bega Case. This immersive detective escape game – available in both English and Spanish – will debut on Kickstarter on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 16:00 CET (Madrid time).
In Crime at Home: Bega Case, players step into the role of investigators working to solve a chilling mystery. David has survived a poisoning, but the culprit remains unidentified—and could strike again. Players must follow the clues, solve escape room-style puzzles, and uncover the truth before time runs out.
Solve a Crime from Your Living Room
Designed for 1 to 6 players, Crime at Home games combine physical materials with interactive digital elements, delivering an immersive, hands-on detective experience. Each case is rich in narrative detail, challenging players to connect the dots, think critically, and piece together the full story—just like real investigators.
Players will examine physical evidence such as interview transcripts, fingerprint records, medical reports, city maps, personal letters, and newspaper clippings. At the same time, they’ll interact with digital tools including a police database, websites, social media accounts, and even make phone calls to uncover hidden clues.
Available in English and Spanish – With More Languages Coming
At launch, Crime at Home: Bega Case will be available in both English and Spanish. Backers will also have the opportunity to purchase English-language editions of the first two games, previously available only in Spanish.
If the campaign reaches its stretch goals, the new game will also be translated into German and Italian, bringing the experience to even more mystery lovers across the world.
First 200 Backers Get a Big Discount
The first 200 backers will unlock a special early-bird discount, available exclusively when the campaign launches on May 20 at 16:00 CET. Quantities are limited—early support is key!

From Lockdown Project to International Launch
Founded in Barcelona by Christiaan and Jessica – a Belgian-Spanish couple – the idea took root during the pandemic, born from a shared love of detective stories, escape rooms, and challenging puzzles. What started as a side project quickly gained traction. Under the Spanish brand Crimen en Casa, their first two games became top-selling mystery titles on Amazon Spain and gained a dedicated fan base. “We’ve always asked ourselves, ‘Would we love playing this?’ If the answer is yes, we keep going,” say Christiaan and Jessica. “Now we’re thrilled to share this experience with players worldwide—in multiple languages.”
Kickstarter Campaign
The Kickstarter campaign includes exclusive bundles, multilingual content, and stretch goals to unlock new translations. Backers will directly support the expansion of the Crime at Home universe and help bring its stories to new audiences.
