bloXroute has introduced a new feature called Compliance Lists aimed at bolstering security and regulatory compliance for block builders and validators. This feature includes predefined watchlists of addresses curated by recognized authorities, serving as effective tools to mitigate risks associated with sanctioned entities, cybercrime, and suspicious activities.
The Compliance Lists launch includes five distinct categories:
1. OFAC List: Addresses sanctioned by the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
2. Sanction Watchlist: Addresses belonging to entities sanctioned globally.
3. Sanction Exposure Watchlist: Addresses exposed to funds related to sanctioned entities.
4. Cybercrime Watchlist: Addresses involved in known cybercrime activities.
5. Suspicious Watchlist: Addresses suspected of involvement in crime or sanctions.
As of May 29, 2024, these lists collectively encompass over 130,000 addresses, providing comprehensive coverage against potential threats in the blockchain ecosystem.
Eyal Markovich, COO at bloXroute, emphasized the significance of Compliance Lists in their service suite, stating, “We are thrilled to introduce Compliance Lists, a critical addition to our suite of services. This product underscores our commitment to enhancing transaction security and regulatory compliance.”
