Saudi fintech barq and TerraPay forge strategic partnership

Saudi fintech platform Barq and TerraPay, a global leader in money movement solutions, have officially entered into a strategic partnership. The agreement, formalized during Seamless 2024 in Dubai, is geared towards enhancing international money transfer services with speed and security.

Expressing his excitement about the collaboration, Ahmed Alenazi, CEO of Barq, stated, “We are thrilled to partner with TerraPay to elevate our international money transfer services. This partnership underscores our dedication to innovation and customer satisfaction.”

Ani Sane, co-founder and chief business officer of TerraPay, emphasized the significance of the alliance, saying, “This partnership goes beyond a mere agreement; it exemplifies our commitment to supporting promising initiatives in Saudi Arabia like Barq. Through this collaboration, our goal is to deliver swift, efficient, and secure international money transfer services adhering to global standards.”

Backed by TerraPay’s expansive global payments network, the partnership is aligned with Barq’s objective of broadening its service portfolio to meet customer demands and keep pace with the fintech sector’s growth, both domestically and internationally.

Having obtained a license from the Saudi Central Bank in January, Barq, developed in Riyadh by Saudi talents, aims to revolutionize the Kingdom’s fintech landscape with its distinctive services, secure payment methods, and a team of industry experts.
