Knox Systems, the fastest way for SaaS vendors to deliver secure software to the U.S. government, has joined the Cloud Service Providers – Advisory Board (CSP-AB), a coalition of 19 of the world’s top cloud innovators.
This announcement comes at a critical inflection point: for the first time, both civilian agencies and the Department of Defense are adopting AI systems and large language models (LLMs) that connect to the internet—a significant shift from the historically airgapped environments that have defined secure government IT. As agencies accelerate their move from custom-built legacy systems to Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) solutions and connected AI tools, security has never been more vital.
The CSP-AB brings together leading cloud providers to advance the policies, standards, and infrastructure necessary for secure, scalable cloud adoption across government. As a new member, Knox brings its unmatched experience operating the largest and longest-running FedRAMP- and DISA-authorized SaaS cloud in the federal marketplace, including Adobe’s Federal Cloud. Knox’s AI-powered platform enables SaaS vendors to achieve FedRAMP authorization in just 90 days—at 10% of the traditional cost—helping agencies rapidly adopt secure, mission-ready technologies.
“We’re entering a new era,” said Irina Denisenko, CEO of Knox. “The government is no longer just exploring AI—it’s operationalizing it. LLMs that access the open internet raise unprecedented risks, and it’s more urgent than ever to ensure SaaS platforms meet the highest security standards. CSP-AB is how we, as an industry, align with government to move fast and stay secure.”
“As AI becomes embedded in the fabric of mission systems, security and speed must go hand in hand” said Laura Navaratnam, Executive Director the CSP-AB. “We’re excited to welcome Knox to the CSP-AB and look forward to their contributions in shaping the next generation of cloud security policy.”
With strong support from the current Administration for rapid software modernization and a shift toward COTS, the CSP-AB is serving as a key bridge between industry and government stakeholders. By joining this board, Knox will help shape future-proof compliance frameworks and enable a new wave of secure, AI-enabled cloud tools for defense, intelligence, and civilian agencies.
