This announcement comes at a critical inflection point: for the first time, both civilian agencies and the Department of Defense are adopting AI systems and large language models (LLMs) that connect to the internet—a significant shift from the historically airgapped environments that have defined secure government IT. As agencies accelerate their move from custom-built legacy systems to Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) solutions and connected AI tools, security has never been more vital.
The CSP-AB brings together leading cloud providers to advance the policies, standards, and infrastructure necessary for secure, scalable cloud adoption across government.
