Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) has forged a partnership with Intellect Global Transaction Banking (iGTB), the transaction banking division of Intellect Design Arena, an Indian banking technology provider, to implement its Digital Transaction Banking (DTB) offering.
As a commercial bank with assets totaling $7.3 billion, JKB is utilizing the DTB platform to augment its existing transaction banking channels by introducing new digital capabilities tailored for its corporate and SME clientele.
These enhancements will span various areas, including cash management, payments, and the bank’s trade finance operations. Additionally, JKB will leverage iGTB’s Digital Customer Experience suite (CBX) and mobile banking services to elevate its digital offerings across the corporate financial supply chain.
This initiative is supported by the open finance platform eMACH.ai, which was launched by Intellect Design Arena last year.
In line with the objectives outlined in the Jordan Vision 2025 for an enhanced digital experience, JKB has been actively engaging with a diverse array of vendors and technologies.
Less than two years ago, the bank announced its collaboration with UAE-based vendor Codebase Technologies for its Digibanc platform. Currently, the Digibanc platform supports JKB’s digital onboarding service and credit card issuance processes. The platform seamlessly integrates with JKB’s existing IT infrastructure, core banking systems, credit bureaus, and national ID database.
