Company’s Worldwide Operations and Technology Continue to Focus on Healthy Play
Scientific Games continues leadership as a responsible gaming company by achieving re-certification for the World Lottery Association’s Responsible Gaming Framework Certificate of Alignment for its global operations and technology. With operations spanning five continents and serving 150 lotteries in 50 countries, Scientific Games was once again awarded the prestigious certification from WLA following an extensive independent, international auditing process.

Notably, the recertification assessment reported that Scientific Games has globally demonstrated a strong commitment to responsible gaming practices with an approach embedded in the day-to-day execution of product development and sales efforts. The assessment indicated that the company meets and exceeds the minimum WLA Responsible Gaming certification requirements.
In 2015, Scientific Games was among the first in the world to achieve WLA certification as a responsible gaming supplier at its European operations. The company earned multiple re-certifications over the years. WLA awarded the company’s initial global certification in 2022 following the launch of its award-winning Healthy Play responsible gaming program. Healthy Play provides lotteries with science-backed tools, features, best practices and technology to increase responsible play by improving ‘lottery literacy’ among all stakeholders.

WLA’s responsible gaming certification framework includes research, employee programs, product and service development, remote wagering channels (including iLottery), advertising and marketing communications, client awareness, stakeholder engagement, and reporting.
