Juspay integrates Hyperswitch into Recurly to expand subscription payment options

Juspay has partnered with subscription management and recurring billing platform Recurly to integrate Juspay’s open-source payment orchestration platform, Hyperswitch, into the Recurly ecosystem. The companies said the collaboration is aimed at helping subscription merchants reduce payment failures, add payment providers more quickly, and speed up go-to-market in new regions.

Under the partnership, Recurly merchants gain access to Hyperswitch’s network of more than 300 payment service providers (PSPs) and acquirers globally. Juspay said the setup is designed to allow Recurly to activate new payment methods for merchants without complex technical builds, using a unified integration layer.

Recurly will also leverage Hyperswitch’s Platform Organization mode to programmatically onboard and manage merchants across its portfolio, which the companies said is intended to avoid additional operational overhead. For end users, the firms said this should translate into a smoother checkout experience with a wider choice of preferred payment methods.

“Subscription businesses need a payment infrastructure that is reliable and built to scale,” said Matt Healey, Director of Product Partnerships at Juspay. “Through Hyperswitch, we enable merchants to reduce payment friction, and expand into new markets without rebuilding their payment stack from scratch. Our partnership with Recurly brings these capabilities directly into the subscription management workflow, where payment performance matters most.”

“Flexibility and performance are non-negotiable for subscription businesses operating at global scale,” said Jonas Flodh, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Recurly. “By integrating Juspay Hyperswitch with Recurly’s platform, merchants gain access to best-in-class integrations in a vast payments network that will open up access to new payment methods and markets.”
