Blue Frog Immersive Reimagines Concerts As Intimate, Enveloping Experiences Via its New App for the Apple Vision Pro

VR is about presence, the feeling of being right there, of experiencing a breathtaking moment firsthand. When it comes to VR concerts, however, most available experiences feel like arena shows, big, impressive, yes, but distant.

Blue Frog Immersive has imagined a different approach to immersive live music experiences that bring people right into an acoustically exquisite, warm and intimate studio. Music lovers with Apple Vision Pros can now savor six high-intensity performers in just this way, thanks to Blue Frog Immersive’s new app. Live as of April 29, 2026 in the App Store, fans can experience Blue Frog Immersive’s painstaking capture of live artistry designed to make them  feel like they are right there in the room.

Blue Frog Immersive sought our performances by artists who know how to connect, whose artistry resounds up close. At launch, fans can enjoy GRAMMY-nominated blues/soul icon Sugaray Rayford; the stunning vocal artistry of Miss Emily; country maverick Dawson Gray; Jimi’s songwriting prowess; the jazz-funk of The Wild Blue Herons; and Steelin’ in the Years, a heartfelt homage to Steely Dan’s greatest moments.

These first releases show how Blue Frog Immersive is extending Blue Frog Studio’s high standards for recording quality, emotion, and creative expression. Every show uses leading-edge technology to render the experience of Blue Frog Studio’s venue, from its acoustics to its visual ambiance. It’s a space where musicians feel and perform at their best.

All shows were recorded natively for the AVP, with dual 8K stereoscopic immersive capture, studio-grade spatial audio, and a head-tracked Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 audio mix that makes viewers feel they are mere feet from the stage. The app was created in collaboration with Acute Immersive, the leading immersive tech studio based in San Francisco.

“Blue Frog Studios evolved as a home for intimate concert experiences, which we then decided to share with very high-quality video,” explains Blue Frog Studios founder Kelly Breaks, who decided to dive into immersive concerts after an a-ha moment with an AVP. “The real feel and energy of musicians deep in their groove is what we want to convey, and immersive technology and the Apple Vision Pro get us there.”

All the tech goes toward one goal: capturing artists who are truly loving the moment in an atmosphere that brings out their best. “We enjoyed our time at Blue Frog. What a great venue, what a great staff, and what great patronage. It was modern and up-to-date and the VR cameras made the experience really cool,” says Sugaray. “Can’t wait to do it again.”
