As CEO of a fintech company, I can say that in the last couple of years, we, as a fintech company, have been one of the spearheads of changes in the gambling industry. These changes were driven firstly by the necessity created by COVID to shift gambling from shiny halls, and slot machine salons to the relaxing and safe environment of everyone’s bedroom. For this shift, three things were of the most importance – speed, security, and accessibility. And these three things are inseparable from fintech. Through the introduction of digital payment solutions, such as e-wallets, cryptocurrencies, and mobile payment apps, fintech has made it easier for users to deposit and withdraw funds from their gambling accounts, it takes a second now and brings speed and accessibility to new highs. Furthermore, Fintech has facilitated the rise of peer-to-peer betting platforms, blockchain-based gambling, and smart contracts, providing transparency, fairness, and traceability in the gambling process. Just like that using means already created by fintech companies gambling became easier, faster, and safer. But it wasn’t a one side partnership, as gambling gave data and has enabled the integration of data analytics and machine learning algorithms to improve and make fintech faster and safer for everyone. Now we at Neopay, believe that the rise of A.I. technologies will make us take another step forward both in the gambling industry and of course in fintech, and personally, I believe that this step must be made together.
