Dr. Holger Jakob

Dr. Holger Jakob advises German and English speaking clients on matters of Sports, Esports and Gaming Law. He leads the Sports & Esports Law Practice Group and is also a member of the Gaming & Betting Law Practice Group at MELCHERS. In the field of sports, Dr Jakob has been advising athletes, clubs and sports associations, especially clients from professional soccer, for over 12 years. He also has strong ties to the professional esports scene, in particular he worked as General Counsel for one of the leading esports teams in the world. Holger is based in Berlin, the German capital of Esports.
