UXLINK has achieved a remarkable milestone by surpassing 10 million registered users, solidifying its position as a leader in the blockchain and SocialFi sectors.
This significant achievement was recently announced on their website and Twitter, marking UXLINK as the first platform in these sectors to reach such a substantial user base. Chief Technology Officer, Bob Ng, provided insights into the platform’s user metrics and measurement criteria.
Prioritizing Genuine User Engagement
UXLINK distinguishes itself from other blockchain projects by prioritizing “registered users” over unique wallet addresses to foster genuine social interaction. This approach addresses common issues such as the prevalence of invalid or sybil wallet addresses and the importance of fostering authentic user connections. The registration process on UXLINK involves three stages: invitation-based registration, human interaction verification, and product usage, ensuring a more meaningful and trustworthy user base.
Understanding UXUY Holders and Their Role in the Ecosystem
UXLINK introduces UXUY holders, who play a pivotal role in boosting community growth and interaction through a unique Proof of Work (POW) score mechanism. UXUY, a non-transferable on-chain POW score, is generated through transparent community-driven mining activities. To become a UXUY Holder, users must have registered wallets with UXLINK, actively contribute to community-defined POW activities, and claim their UXUY on-chain. Currently, UXLINK boasts 5 million UXUY holders, all of whom are community contributors and potential governance token holders, with this number expected to grow substantially over time.
Criteria for Token Holders
UXLINK has established specific criteria for token holders, focusing on community contribution, on-chain interaction, and assets held in wallets. Pre-Token Generation Event (TGE) activities involved exchanging UXUY for NFTs, which acted as airdrop vouchers, while post-TGE activities include legitimate token purchases and community contributions. As of now, UXLINK has approximately 1,600,000 eligible holders, with numbers expected to fluctuate based on liquidity releases and ongoing community engagement.
Implementing Anti-Sybil Measures
To maintain a genuine and high-quality community, UXLINK implements a three-step strategy that includes identifying and excluding false wallet addresses, reclaiming rewards from inactive accounts, and conducting pre-TGE anti-sybil measures. These measures demonstrate UXLINK’s commitment to transparency and fairness in rewarding genuine participants.
Comparative Perspective: UXLINK vs. NOTCOIN
UXLINK and NOTCOIN, while both aiming for mass adoption, differ in user engagement and on-chain metrics. UXLINK’s emphasis on deeper user interaction, superior user retention, and higher-quality user base sets it apart from NOTCOIN. Despite NOTCOIN having a larger user base, UXLINK excels in daily and monthly active users and user-to-holder ratios, showcasing its effectiveness in transitioning from web2 to web3.
A Vision for the Future
Bob Ng, UXLINK’s CTO, outlines a compelling vision for the platform’s future, emphasizing trust, familiar social connections, and collaboration with ecosystem partners to create a socialized layer for asset generation and distribution. This vision underscores UXLINK’s commitment to empowering users and developers alike through innovative protocols and modularized products, ultimately driving growth and efficiency in the blockchain and SocialFi sectors.
