Spool DAO, the governance community driving the Spool infrastructure solution for DeFi access, have chosen to integrate Rocket Pool, a leader in decentralized Ethereum staking, into Spool’s strategy lineup. Through the integration, Spool users can now utilize rETH as a Smart Vault deposit and unlock the potential of LSTs using Rocket Pool’s strategy with unparalleled flexibility, risk-reduction, and security.
By implementing the Rocket Pool LST strategy, Spool users can amplify the diversity of their DeFi portfolios and access liquid staking through one of the sector’s most influential projects. Simplifying access in an automated and risk-managed environment lets users access LSTs without navigating complex entry points.
Now, Spool users can also deposit rETH, Rocket Pool’s proprietary liquid staking token, into their Smart Vaults, adding new utility and broadening the currency options available in their protocol. Making rETH a deposit option outside of Rocket Pool enables its usage for other strategies within Spool’s ecosystem, exemplifying DeFi’s flexible and dynamic nature.
The integration adds to a steady stream of recent partnerships for Spool, including Staking Rewards and Solity Network, solidifying its momentum as a platform building expansive DeFi infrastructure for both institutional and retail players to utilize.
