France has unveiled what it says is the first official Esports Nations Cup (ENC) national team jersey, revealing an adidas-designed kit at the Esports Festival by the Esports World Cup on the Champs-Élysées. Team France is set to wear the jersey at the inaugural ENC in Riyadh this November, where players from more than 100 countries and territories will compete across 16 games.

The reveal marked the first in-person appearance of the French ENC delegation, led by National Team Manager Bora “YellOwStaR” Kim, alongside ENC Ambassador for France Kamel “Kameto” Kebir and national players. The festival programme included live competition across EA SPORTS FC 26, Rocket League and Trackmania, and was hosted by Doigby and Kayané.

Ralf Reichert, CEO of the Esports Foundation, positioned the national kit as a key part of the ENC’s effort to mirror traditional international sport. “For billions of people around the world, national pride is one of the most powerful connections to sport. The Esports Nations Cup can give them a new way into esports: a team that represents them,” he said. “To unveil the first national jersey together with adidas, here in France alongside the Esports World Cup, is an incredible and historic moment. There could be no more fitting place than the Champs-Élysées—one of the most iconic stages in the world—to begin this new chapter.”

According to the release, adidas will supply custom jerseys and tracksuits for more than 100 participating countries and territories across the ENC’s 16 game titles, using a standardised design system that includes gaming-inspired graphics and custom typography. France said it is already guaranteed to participate in 13 of the 16 titles, with its full delegation to be presented closer to the event.

The French roster presented at the unveiling included players across VALORANT (Thomas “K4DAVRA” Johner, Michael “Mikee” Lim, Ryad “sh1n” Ensaad, Jonathan “takaS” Paupard), Trackmania (Gwendal “Gwen” Duparc), Honor of Kings (Nabil “Nabil” Mekerri, Rayan “Clue” Maaroufi), Rocket League (Axel “Vatira” Touret), EA SPORTS FC 26 (Brice “Brice” Masson), Rainbow Six Siege (Stéphane “Shaiiko” Lebleu, Joan “bbySharKK” Benito, Alexandre “BlaZ” Thomas, Samy “Stooflex” Smail, Loïc “BriD” Chongthep, Théo “LikEfac” Mariano) and Street Fighter 6 (Julien “Alphen” Thomas, Kilyan “Kilzyou” Faucheux). France also pointed to domestic market scale, citing the France Esports Barometer’s figures of approximately six million active participants and more than 10 million regular viewers.
