Home of Indies at Gamescom 2026: New Booth Concept, Home Stage and Livestreams

With Home of Indies, the Berlin-based communications agency FACTORY-C once again brings indie studios from around the world together at Gamescom this year. The exhibition stand combines dedicated showcase areas, a stage for engaging talks, and diverse networking opportunities within an open, collaborative atmosphere. Located in the Indie Area in Hall 10.2 and spanning a total of 440 square meters, Home of Indies is an ideal platform for international developers to present their latest projects to a broad audience.

Bookings for Gamescom 2026 are now open.

Notably, the shared booth is open to all indie studios.

From Mini to Xtra Big – New Booth Sizes Offer More Flexibility and Customization

Home of Indies returns to Gamescom for the fifth time this year, introducing an expanded stand concept. For the first time, developer studios can choose from four different booth sizes. The Mini Booth (€ 1.999) is ideal for indie teams exhibiting at Gamescom for the first time, offering a cost-efficient presence with a width of 80 centimeters. The Basic and Big Booths (€3.499 or €5.499) provide tailored showcase spaces for small to mid-sized projects, while the Xtra Big Booth (€11.499) offers 8 square meters for more elaborate presentations.

Talks, Streams and Business Meetings Under One Roof

The stand concept is complemented by the Home Stage, where visitors can look forward to engaging talks and panels focused on the games industry and indie scene. Additional established highlights of Home of Indies include an exclusive streaming booth showcasing indie titles, as well as a separately bookable meeting area for business appointments via the Games Industry Business Lounge (GIBL) in Hall 2.2.

Christiane Gehrke, Senior Event Communication & Sales Manager at FACTORY-C and the initiator behind Home of Indies, says: “With Home of Indies, we once again create a home for indie studios from around the globe, and a space that increases visibility while bringing developers and the community together.”

Since 2022, FACTORY-C has been giving independent game developers a dedicated stage at Gamescom with its Home of Indies area. Last year, more than 50 titles from over a dozen countries were featured. In time for the launch of this year’s booking phase, FACTORY-C has brought on board industry expert Tom Achsel, co-founder of the Berlin gaming festival Games Ground, to provide additional support.
