Aerosoft and Chronos North have revealed Firefighters Code Red, a new firefighting simulation game scheduled for release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
According to the companies, Firefighters Code Red will feature more than 30 mission locations inspired by North America, spanning residential fires, smoke-filled buildings, collapsing structures and outdoor incidents, with time pressure and “unpredictable emergencies” built into the scenarios.
The title is designed to be played solo or in cross-platform co-op multiplayer, where players coordinate as a crew to plan approaches, split roles, search for victims, and manage evolving hazards. The developers also highlighted dynamic fire behaviour, including smoke, heat build-up, unstable structures, backdrafts and grease fires, as well as risks tied to electronics and chemicals.
Aerosoft and Chronos North said players will use “authentic fire trucks” and a range of firefighting equipment, including hoses, extinguishers and tools for entry and rescue. While the game offers 30 missions, the publishers added that randomised mission elements are intended to make repeat runs unpredictable, including changes to victim locations, fire spread and available escape routes.
A Steam page and a reveal trailer are now live, with Aerosoft inviting players to wishlist the game ahead of release.
