SNPIT, the pioneering Japanese tech company behind the world’s first Snap-to-Earn platform powered by Camera NFTs, announced today that users of its Free Camera feature can now redeem Free Points (FP) for Bitcoin. This first-of-its-kind update expands SNPIT’s existing reward system, marking a step toward greater accessibility to digital asset rewards for mainstream users.
SNPIT’s Free Camera allows users to engage in photo-based activities and casual battles to earn Free Points without requiring NFT ownership or purchases, making the platform widely accessible. Previously, FP could only be exchanged for digital gifts within the app.
With this latest update, starting from March 7, 2025, FP can now be converted into Bitcoin, expanding the platform’s reward system and creating a direct connection between everyday digital engagement and blockchain-based incentives. This enhancement aligns with SNPIT’s broader mission to bridge traditional digital interactions with blockchain-powered value exchange.
“The key to Web3 adoption lies in real-world usability. Blockchain technology should seamlessly integrate into everyday experiences, making digital asset rewards as natural and intuitive as traditional digital interactions,“ said Toshiyuki Otsuka, Founder of SNPIT. “By introducing Bitcoin redemption for Free Points, we’re lowering barriers to entry and giving users a tangible reason to join blockchain without experience. This update not only hardens our reward system but is also a step towards bridging traditional digital engagement with blockchain-driven value exchange. We want to create a scalable, inclusive platform where users can engage with Web3 effortlessly.“
The introduction of Bitcoin redemption for Free Camera users marks a major step toward mainstream blockchain adoption, making digital asset rewards more practical and accessible. Unlike Play-to-Earn models, which require upfront investments or technical knowledge, SNPIT’s Snap-to-Earn model lowers entry barriers, allowing anyone to benefit from blockchain rewards effortlessly.
This enhancement aligns with growing trends in blockchain-integrated consumer applications, particularly in Decentralized Physical Infrastructure (DePIN) and digital rewards. As blockchain adoption expands, SNPIT continues to explore new applications and partnerships, reinforcing its vision of a more inclusive and seamless Web3 ecosystem.
