A significant move for Traydstream! Stephan Hufnagl brings a wealth of experience from his time at Microsoft

 

Traydstream, headquartered in the UK and specializing in trade finance technology, has appointed Stephan Hufnagl, formerly of Microsoft, as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Stephan Hufnagl joins Traydstream with a wealth of experience, having spent over 20 years in the industry focusing on cloud architecture, business strategy, and engineering. He comes directly from Microsoft, where he served as the director of technical specialists, overseeing analytics, data, and AI teams. Prior to his role at Microsoft, Hufnagl also held a position at Google, concluding his tenure as the data analytics practice lead for Google Cloud in the EMEA region.

In his new role as CTO, Hufnagl will lead Traydstream’s technology strategy and drive forward its product development efforts, according to Traydstream CEO Sameer Sehgal.

Traydstream specializes in automating trade documentation, extracting data, and validating transaction documentation for financial institutions using machine learning on its cloud-based platform. The company recently raised $21 million in a Series B funding round, aimed at further developing its platform and expanding its technology stack.
