NCPG Announces New Director of Communications

The National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) is pleased to announce the hiring of Cait Huble as Director of Communications. Huble originally served as NCPG’s first Communications Manager from 2017 to 2019 and returns to the organization to lead communications strategy, including public awareness and education, media relations, and brand partnerships.

This expansion of NCPG’s communications team serves as one of the capacity-building initiatives outlined in the $6.2M grant from the National Football League Foundation (NFLF), which aims to bolster problem gambling and responsible gambling awareness, services, and advocacy nationwide. In this role, Huble will be responsible for managing national information campaigns including public service announcements and the website www.responsibleplay.org.

“We are excited to have Cait Huble back at NCPG leading our communications efforts,” said Keith Whyte, NCPG Executive Director. “The organization is currently experiencing a period of unprecedented growth and achievement, and Cait is the ideal choice to connect with external audiences and enhance awareness around responsible gambling and problem gambling.”

Huble’s resume includes over ten years of communications strategy and planning experience at nonprofit organizations. Most recently she served as the Executive Director at the Sonoran Arts League, a member-based organization dedicated to the preservation and advancement of the arts. There, she developed and managed award-winning community relations and educational outreach programs to bring awareness to the creative sector.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to continue advancing NCPG’s mission during this unique time as sports betting and gambling in general continue to expand rapidly across the country,” Huble said. “I look forward to helping achieve NCPG’s ambitious goals in advocacy, awareness and assistance on problem gambling.”

Huble holds an MBA from Concordia University, as well as an MA in Executive Leadership and a BS in Management from Arizona State University.
