The platform provider says the standards support regulated iGaming and event wagering market access.
Bede Gaming has secured GLI-19 and GLI-33 certifications, following testing and certification by eCOGRA, the company said.
The company said the two standards are used across a range of regulated markets and are recognised in jurisdictions including the UK, Denmark, Malta and British Columbia. GLI-19 covers interactive gaming systems, including player account management, platform security, operational controls and game integrations. GLI-33 sets technical requirements for event wagering systems used for sportsbook and online betting.
Bede said the certifications are intended to reduce compliance friction for operator partners entering new markets, and to support faster engagement with regulators in jurisdictions that rely on GLI standards. The company also positioned the certifications as particularly relevant for North America, where it said multiple US states use the GLI framework and that newer Canadian markets such as Alberta are adopting similar requirements.
