Ventures Labs has selected mkodo’s GeoLocs as its geolocation supplier for Ontario, supporting the launch of its next-generation online gaming site, Miki, which combines casino, sportsbook and live gaming.
The companies said the partnership is designed to help ensure players located in Ontario can access the platform in line with regulatory requirements, using browser-based geolocation to verify a user’s location without requiring an additional app download.
Ventures Lab said it chose GeoLocs based on its market experience and track record with regulated operators in Canada, including support for operators in Alberta for five years.
“We selected mkodo as our partner because of their proven expertise in delivering seamless and compliant mobile experiences. Their technology and collaborative approach have been instrumental in supporting our launch in Ontario. We look forward to building on this partnership as we continue to expand our presence in regulated markets.” said Carlos Strazzer, CEO at Ventures Labs.
“We’re delighted to partner with Ventures Lab as they bring Miki to players across Ontario. Their vision for delivering a seamless, engaging gaming experience aligns closely with our commitment to providing trusted, accurate and frictionless geolocation technology. We look forward to supporting their growth in the regulated Canadian market and helping ensure players can access their platform seamlessly and securely.” said Will Whitehead, Commercial Director at mkodo.
