Unlike GPU manufacturers, Opera GX is offering RGX at a market-first price point — free of charge — and consumes little to no additional resources, which means it doesn’t require any upgrade in setup.
Technically speaking, RGX is a content enhancing technology that applies to video and image elements on webpages. Traditionally, filters of this caliber require GPU acceleration, whereas in Opera GX, the technology is built right into the browser.
