Awarding-winning online casino operator Rootz LTD is delighted to bolster its ranks with the welcome addition of industry veteran Sam Brown.

Brown takes up the position of Chief Commercial Officer based out of Rootz HQ, Malta, charged with heading up the company’s commercial affairs division.

With more than 15 years under his belt across a number of C-level B2B and B2C roles, Brown brings a wealth of experience to the table having transformed the fortunes of a number of iGaming outfits. His vast industry knowledge and expertise will help Rootz cement their position as a major player in the global iGaming arena.

Additionally, Brown’s appointment frees up current CMO, Melanie Hainzer, to channel efforts into the firm’s acquisition arm while Rootz seeks to obtain licenses across a number of jurisdictions. The operator expects to be fully operational in Germany imminently, with Netherlands and Ontario licenses likely to be received in Q4 2022 as it expands its global footprint further.

Rootz has enjoyed unprecedented success since debuting with flagship brand, Wildz Casino in 2019, recently adding a fourth addition to its portfolio with the launch of streaming site, Spinz Casino.

Spinz introduces an industry-first concept by integrating daily live streaming services directly into its own native platform with entertainment firmly at the heart.

Commenting on the move, Brown said: “I have maintained a keen eye on Rootz for several years now, and it feels great that I no longer need to admire from afar. I’m really excited about the new challenge, and looking forward to working with a high performance team.”
