Yggdrasil, the leading worldwide publisher of online gambling content, has teamed up with Jade Rabbit for its exotic adventure, Jambo Cash.

Set where the jungle meets the savannah, the 6×4, 4,096 ways to win game offers multiplying wilds, instant prize symbols and more, with fearsome masks acting as the highest paying symbols.

If a Wild mask appears it will reveal a multiplier between 1x and 5x. If multiple Wilds are involved in one win, they will add together before multiplying the payout.

The Instant Prize symbols will pay out their sum if they land adjacent from left to right, with the Wild multipliers also working for any prize symbols.

If three Bonus symbols land on the reels, the Free Spins mode is triggered, where players face an interactive choice of more free spins or more low paying symbols converted to Instant Prize symbols, as well as a random configuration.

During the bonus round, more symbols can be converted to Instant Prize symbols progressively, leading to huge wins.

Jambo Cash is the second YG Masters creation from Jade Rabbit, following Word of Thoth. It is powered by GATI, with Yggdrasil’s state-of-the-art technology enabling partners to employ the preconfigured, regulation-ready, standardised development toolkit to produce consistently cutting-edge content followed by rapid distribution.

Stuart McCarthy, Head of Product and Programs at Yggdrasil, said: Jambo Cash is a well-crafted slot with an engaging theme, immersive gameplay and the potential for big cash prizes on every spin. The purpose of the YG Masters program is to bring diverse and innovative content to the wider market and we’re delighted to do that with this latest hit, in partnership with Jade Rabbit.”

Roger Admeus, Managing Director at Jade Rabbit Studio, said: “From Wild multipliers to Instant Prize symbols and action-packed Free Spins, Jambo Cash brings huge levels of excitement to players. We continue to work hard to create entertaining gaming experiences and we’re very pleased to roll out this thrilling new hit.”

The annual Whichbingo awards were held virtually in 2021 with twelve winners announced across the event which was held online for a second year in a row.

The winner of the WhichBingo Award 2021 for Best Bingo Site is Sun Bingo – the first time it has picked up the main award since 2010. The good news didn’t stop there for Sun Bingo as it went on to scoop two more major awards – Best Bingo Chat Team and Best Playtech Bingo Site. Another big winner was an unexpected name: PlayOJO. This brand also picked up three prestigious awards, snatching them from under the noses of dedicated bingo sites. PlayOJO is the proud winner of the awards for Best New Bingo Site, Best Pragmatic Play Bingo Site and Best Slots Site. Of all the casino sites that have adopted online bingo over the last 18 months it is PlayOJO that certainly put its heart and soul into the product, rather than just having it sit on site as an additional plug-in. They players on the site have certainly shown their appreciation of its efforts.

Wink Bingo continues to be the shining star of the 888 stable as it picked up the award for Best Dragonfish Bingo Site for the fifth consecutive year. The famous Foxy Bingo took the award for Best Entain Bingo Site and Rainbow Spins sitting on the Jumpman Gaming platform took Best New Slots Site.

Inbal Winner, General Manager Europe at XLMedia plc:

After an exciting month of voting, we’re delighted to congratulate the winners of this year’s WhichBingo awards. The awards are one of the annual highlights for the UK online bingo industry, and because the winners are mainly decided by players’ votes, they are particularly coveted by the brands lucky enough to be declared winners.

The popularity of online bingo has soared in the last eighteen months during the pandemic, so it was also pleasing to see that hosting our ceremony virtually hasn’t dampened the enthusiasm of players who voted, with another huge number of votes cast again this year. With the game continuing to attract a much wider demographic of players than ever before, these awards enable us to recognise the hard work of all the best UK bingo sites around today.”

The award winners were revealed in a virtual ceremony for the second time due to continued uncertainty around live events. They were announced by WhichBingo Social Media Presenter Charlie Shakespeare and filming took place at the beautiful Buzz Bingo venue in Tooting, London.

As the WhichBingo Awards are mainly decided by player votes they are highly regarded by the bingo brands and a coveted indication of many satisfied customers.

New Zealander vows to ‘expect the unexpected’ at unpredictable Extreme E event

Veloce Racing has announced that Emma Gilmour will step up from her role as the team’s female reserve driver to fill the boots of Jamie Chadwick in the upcoming Arctic X Prix – the third event on Extreme E’s inaugural 2021 calendar.

The New Zealander boasts an impressive résumé having competed in several WRC events, finished runner-up in the New Zealand Rally Championship three times in succession and made an appearance in the 2014 X Games semi-final.

Gilmour will now stand in for Jamie Chadwick at Extreme E’s Kangerlussuaq, Greenland event due to a clash with the Belgian W Series race at Spa-Francorchamps. The reigning champion has opted to race in the all-female series to keep hopes of retaining her 2019 title alive.

The pairing of Stéphane Sarrazin and Chadwick proved a potent one at the Senegal race in May, as the duo drove strategically throughout the event, taking minimal risks and building speed as the weekend progressed.

While others fell by the wayside suffering mechanical failures and getting tangled up in incidents, Veloce Racing weathered the storm securing a maiden podium and a second-place finish as a well-earned reward.

Despite her lack of seat time in Extreme E, Gilmour’s wealth of experience combined with Sarrazin’s knowledge of the series so far, will ensure this renewed partnership and the Veloce Racing Squad are as competitive as ever in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland.

Emma Gilmour, Driver, Veloce Racing commented:

“I’m so excited to get started. Obviously, I have been involved with Veloce Racing in my role as Reserve Driver so far this season but now to be able to get behind the wheel and go racing is going to be incredible.

“The key is to expect the unexpected. Extreme E has proven in its first two races that anything can – and probably will – happen so I’m going to try and prepare for every eventuality.

“Stéphane [Sarrazin] and Jamie [Chadwick] made an incredible comeback in Senegal after a tough opening round, I’m hoping we can keep that ball rolling into Greenland and secure more big points for the team.

“I’m under no illusions though. This is a tough series with some of the world’s best drivers on the grid. It’s going to be the biggest test of my skills to-date and to do it against such a spectacular backdrop is going to make it even more special.”

Daniel Bailey, CEO, Veloce Racing commented:

“We’re delighted to be able to give Emma [Gilmour] this opportunity to race with us in Greenland. Of course, we were impressed with her abilities from the outset so we signed up as reserve driver for this kind of scenario.

“Her experience speaks for itself. She’s had a hugely successful career both globally and in New Zealand so I don’t think she’ll have any trouble getting up to speed with this new and innovative series.

“Obviously Jamie will be competing in Belgium as well so it’s going to be a very busy weekend for the team and our biggest test yet, but we’re up for the challenge!

“Stéphane and Jamie did an amazing job last time out so we want to build on that result and continue to push forward this season – Emma is the perfect person to help us do that.”
