Before joining MightyTips, Eugene spent 19 years with the official UEFA website in various roles, most notably as the Editor-in-Chief of the Russian-language editorial team. He has worked on men's and women's UEFA EUROs, UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League finals, and has had the opportunity to interview renowned figures like Arsène Wenger and Guus Hiddink. Additionally, he has commentated on English Premier League and Serie A matches for Setanta, hosted live sports shows on TV and radio, built the UEFA Champions League community on VK from scratch to a million followers, and reported from iconic stadiums such as Camp Nou and the City of Manchester Stadium. Interestingly, Eugene holds a degree in IT and has extensive experience as a voice-over artist. He is also a father of two and an amateur basketball player.
