New Challenge

HIPTHER Movement: Summer of Motion 2026

Our biggest challenge yet — built for runners and cyclists alike, and designed to keep the HIPTHER Movement community active through the longest, busiest, and most unpredictable stretch of the year.

📆 Challenge Period: 25 May – 27 September 2026
⏱ Duration: 18 weeks
📍 Global • Powered by Strava; Sponsored by GameOn
🏃‍♂️🚴 Open to: HIPTHER Running Club & HIPTHER Cycling Club

☀️ Why Summer of Motion Exists

Summer looks easy on paper. Longer days, better weather, more freedom. But in reality, this is where routines get disrupted, holidays take over, calendars explode, and consistency quietly slips into the background.

Summer of Motion 2026 is built to fight exactly that. Not with pressure, but with structure, accountability, and community across both disciplines. Whether you run or ride, the goal is simple: keep moving through the full season.

🔥 Our Biggest Challenge Yet

For the first time, HIPTHER Movement brings together both clubs under one shared seasonal format. Runners and cyclists will take part over 18 weeks, with the same core structure, the same spirit of consistency, and the same opportunity to compete, improve, and stay visible within the community.

This is not about one heroic weekend or one random mileage spike. It is about showing up over time — through work travel, heatwaves, family plans, packed schedules, and all the usual excuses summer loves to offer.

🏆 Same Criteria. Two Tiers. Two Clubs.

Tier 1 – The Titans

The competitive bracket for the high-performers — the names that consistently sit near the top and turn weekly tracking into a serious sport.

  • Elite-level leaderboard
  • Built for top-performing runners and cyclists
  • Consistency, volume, and competitive edge

Tier 2 – The Momentum Makers

The category for everyone building rhythm, discipline, and sustainable progress — without being buried under elite mileage.

  • Fairer competition across the broader community
  • Designed for progress, not pressure
  • Perfect for comeback stories and consistency builders
How it works: The challenge includes both the HIPTHER Running Club and HIPTHER Cycling Club, each using the same format and tier logic. That means separate recognition for performance and momentum — because fairness matters, and because mixing cyclists and runners into one mileage soup would be ridiculous.
“Summer can either break your routine or strengthen it. We built this challenge to make sure movement stays part of the season.”
— Zoltan Tundik, Co-Founder, HIPTHER

Previous Challenge

HIPTHER Movement: Anti-Quit Running Challenge 2026

A completed community challenge built to keep runners moving beyond January — when most resolutions quietly disappear.

📆 Challenge Period: January 26 – April 5, 2026
📍 Global • Powered by Strava
🏁 Status: Challenge completed

💡 Why This Challenge Mattered

Every January starts strong. And every February… reality usually shows up uninvited. The Anti-Quit Running Challenge was created for that danger zone — the point where motivation drops and habits get tested.

Instead of focusing only on mileage, the challenge rewarded consistency, motivation, and community, giving both experienced runners and rising participants a real reason to keep showing up.

🏆 Challenge Format

Tier 1 – The Titans

The elite bracket reserved for the top runners from previous editions. This was the high-mileage battlefield — for those who treat consistency like a competitive sport.

  • Top 10 from previous challenges
  • Competitive leaderboard
  • Built for experienced, high-volume runners

Tier 2 – The Momentum Makers

A category designed for everyone else — new runners, comeback stories, weekend warriors, and those building momentum without the shadow of elite dominance.

  • Fair competition across the wider community
  • Focus on habit-building
  • Personal progress mattered as much as podium finishes
“We wanted to give everyone a real chance to thrive — not just the usual top five names.”
— Zoltan Tundik, Co-Founder, HIPTHER

📈 What This Challenge Delivered

  • A stronger sense of continuity in the HIPTHER Movement community
  • A fairer competitive structure through two separate leaderboards
  • Weekly motivation, visibility, and shared accountability
  • A challenge model others have since started... appreciating from a distance

More than a mileage contest, Anti-Quit became proof that community-led accountability works — especially when the early-season excitement starts fading.

Community in Motion

HIPTHER Movement isn’t tied to one city, one event, or one finish line. We run wherever the community meets — before conferences, during summits, or simply because showing up matters.
