Hawks Talon Gaming, the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks, announced the creation of their new ‘Gaming House’ for the upcoming NBA 2K League regular season. Located on fifth floor of the award-winning State Farm Arena and boding floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook downtown Atlanta, Hawks Talon will use this specially designed Gaming House for team practices and remote competition. Totaling 4,172 square feet, the dedicated space features a Hawks Talon logo on the backwall and customized team branding and graphics.

As part of this announcement, the Hawks have formally shared that Janice Koon, who worked previously as the Vice President of G League Operations overseeing the College Park Skyhawks, has officially added responsibilities to lead Hawks Talon Gaming.

“We are thrilled to continue investing in Hawks Talon by creating this new space for them inside of State Farm Arena,” said Hawks’ Vice President of G League and 2K League Operations Janice Koon. “We are grateful for the collaboration between our creative team and building operations team who worked diligently to get the Gaming House completed in time for the upcoming season.”

The Gaming House features six PlayStation®5 digital edition consoles and six gaming stations in a semi-circle setup to increase overall communication. During practice and gameplay, players will use Raynor Gaming Chairs, patented with Outlast™ cooling technology and a “Certified Space Technology” endorsement, which are specifically designed to provide Hawks Talon players the best posture and comfort. In addition, the space has six Uline Gear Lockers with custom name plates for each player.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better space for our team this year,” said Hawks Talon Gaming Team Manager and Head Coach Wesley Acuff. “While we do our competitions on the virtual court with the best of the best, it is important we put ourselves in a place that optimizes our performance for both practices and remote competition.”

The Gaming House also has four individual streaming stations with equipment provided by Elgato, the leading provider of hardware and software for content creators, leveraging decades of experience to develop widely accessible products that empower all creators to produce high-quality, professional content. There are two 75” inch TVs that will give players an opportunity for film study. A ping-pong table completes the space.
