Proofpoint Inc., a leading cybersecurity and compliance company, has named George Lee as its new Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific and Japan. Based in Singapore, Lee will spearhead the company’s growth strategy across the region.
Lee joins Proofpoint from Imperva, where he previously served as Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific and Japan. He has also held senior leadership roles at RSA, EMC, and Avanade.

With over 20 years of experience in regional sales and operations in the IT and cybersecurity sectors, Lee has successfully scaled businesses, entered key growth markets, and developed new strategic initiatives. His extensive technology background includes governance, risk and compliance management, identity management, network security (including extended detection and response), and data and application security.
